2026 Fleet Haul at Portland Yacht Services

Saturday, Sept 26 October 3 @ 8AM - 11AM

Step 1: Pay $200 to Fleet Treasurer. 

Each boat pays $200 to its Fleet Treasurer before 10/3. PYS sends one bill per fleet, with each fleet paying PYS directly. Do not pay PYS directly unless you are tipping the crane staff. 

Step 2: Friday, September 25 October 2 - Bring your boat by water to PYS. 

Prep boats (attach lifting straps, long dock lines, and fenders) with your mast UP before leaving it for the night. Any boat with its mast on deck will not be hauled out, despite how well one thinks it is tied. 

Step 3: Saturday, September 26 October 3 - Haul. 

PYS gate opens at 0630. The gate code is 7035. The Crane starts at 0800 and ends at 1100. One boat (either Etchells or J24 depending on availability) will launch every 6-7 minutes. Prep car and trailer before getting in line. Make sure you print & sign the PYS waiver (attached) and have it in your vehicle ready to hand off before your boat is in line for the crane. No waiver = no crane. Follow the crane manager’s directions on when and how to pull through into the crane area. Derig boats at PYS after the haul. All boats and trailers must be removed from PYS grounds by 1700 on Saturday (9/26) when the gate closes for the weekend.
